What is Dogecoin?
Dogecoin is a decentralized and secure cryptocurrency which is used to buy products or to trade for other currencies (both cryptocurrencies or fiat currencies such as USD and EUR). Although it was introduced on 6th December 2013, as a "joke currency", Dogecoin has quickly developed its own community online and reached a capitalization of $60 million in January 2014.
History of Dogecoin

After seeing the site, Billy Markus got in touch with Jackson Palmer and started to create the currency.
On December 6th 2013 Dogecoin was officially launched and the Dogecoin network intended to produce 100billion Dogecoin, but later, announced that they would produce infinite Dogecoins. Fast forward to January 2018, and Dogecoin has reached a $2 billion market cap.
